If you are planning to cross the border into Canada from Michigan through the tunnel or bridge, there are some things that you need to know. You will need to make sure you have the proper identification with you. A passport is ideal but will not be mandatory until the Summer of 2009 (it is getting back home to the USA when you will need your passport). You will need your birth certificate and photo identification such as a drivers license.
